This is beyond awesome. A surfing seaturtle would be cool enough on its own, but you had to go and color it like an absolute pro, didn't you? The texture is incredible. I love how the tight detail on the turtle's scaly skin contrasts the more painterly textures of the rest of the piece. It's classy and cool at the same time.

Another thing I love is the anatomy. The lower legs and feet in particular look awesome to me. They're just the right mix of turtle and human features. The musculature on the upper arms is impressive, as well. It's fabulous how you haven't lost the depth and form of the limbs despite the immense amount of texture concentrated there.

The "furry world" does indeed need more turtles. I'm faving!

It does need more turtles, I never would have thought of a turtle surfing, but I think its an awesome idea and it came out splendidly ^^
